USA : Key Lime Air Flight KG970, a Swearingen SA226-TC Metro II, collided with a Cirrus SR22 GTS G5 Carbon, registration N416DJ, while both airplanes were approaching Denver-Centennial Airport, Colorado, USA.
The Metro managed to conduct a safe landing at APA, the Cirrus however was forced to deploy the CAPS parachute system and land in an open field about 2,3 nm away from the airport. There were no injuries to the two people onboard the Cirrus and the sole pilot onboard the Metro.
It seems that the Cirrus overshoot the final for 17R
